Shows across Europe, collaborations with renowned artists, and a founding project: a fashion and training school in Dakar. For twenty years, Deugs Fashion has carried Senegalese creation beyond borders.
A fashion school in Dakar.
Build, train, pass on.
At the heart of the project: the children and teenagers of Senegal, regardless of gender, religion or origin. Deugs4Kids is building a school in Dakar to reduce illiteracy and teach, alongside general subjects, the textile trades — sewing, fashion design — training girls as a priority.
The land has been acquired in Dakar; the plans were redrawn by architect Edmund Hermann. Hugo Boss supports the project with equipment and know-how, alongside the Zürcher Stalder house. Every Deugs piece sold contributes 10 to 15%.

Deugs Fashion is born
Serigne Ibra Fall founds his own fashion line in Dakar, linking Africa and Europe. The children's line “Deugskids” leads the way.
Cultural Festival & African Festival
First presentations on the European scene, between Zurich and Freudenstadt.
Linden Museum, Stuttgart
A show at the Stuttgart ethnographic museum; the start of collaborations with the bands Kaira (Senegal), Misal (Paris) and Tupelo Dream (Tübingen).
Designer for the stage
Serigne Ibra Fall creates pieces for leading artists, among them Tiken Jah Fakoly and Youssou N'Dour.
A run of shows
LTT Tübingen, Zürcher·Stalder AG in Kirchberg, VHS Metzingen: the house multiplies its appearances and founds the Deugs4Kids association.
