The small run, a luxury that means something

Read · 4 min · 2026-09-01

Produce less, produce better — and keep the value where the craft happens.

Against mass fashion, Deugs Fashion embraces the small run. Pieces are sewn in Senegal, by Senegalese tailors, in limited quantities and often made to measure.

A choice, not a constraint

The small run gives the garment back its time: time to choose the cloth, adjust a cut, perfect a finish. It is also a way to preserve know-how and to give each piece a form of rarity.

The value stays in Dakar

“The maximum of value creation must stay in Senegal.” This founding principle guides all production. And because 10 to 15% of every sale funds the Deugs4Kids school, buying a piece also means investing in the training of the next generation.
